As a concert artist and a graduate of the French School of Saxophone, Gregory Letombe has succeeded as an artist in all genres of saxophone music. He is a talented soloist, has experience in Chamber and Orchestral Music and is a highly respected saxophone tutor.

He gained First Price at the « Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris ». He was instructed by the famous Claude Delangle and has taken part in numerous International and National Competitions. He was first appointed as Professor of Artistic Music at « Le Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Lille » where he currently continues to educate ambitious and inspirrational students from many countries ( France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Spain, China, Taiwan….).

His teaching methodology has been highly recognized, thus resulting in a professional promotion as the Head of Music Department at « Le Conservatoire Royal de Musique de Mons » (in Belgium). He often presents his ideas in teaching music methodology to a large audience. He has presented a variety of instrumental teaching courses such as in, « Sablé-sur-Sarthe » ; « Brette-les-Pins » ; « Bourges » ; « Tournai » (in Belgium) ; « Saint Quentin » ; « Laon » ; « Hem » and « Croix ».

He is also regularly called to the jury of the International and National Competitions, the CNSMDP, the Higher Poles and the Public Service.

Gregory Letombe has been invited to perform as as soloist by « L ‘Orchestre de Bretagne » ; « l’Orchestre National de Lille » ; « l’Orchestre d’Harmonie de la Garde Républicaine » ; « l’Orchestre de la Musique de la Garde Républicaine » ; « la Musique des Sapeurs-Pompiers de Paris » ; « l’Orchestre de la Force Aérienne » (in Belgium) ; « la Musique des Forces Terrestres de Lille » ; « la Musique de l’Infanterie ». He performs regularly in France but also in Taïwan, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, England.

His passion for Chamber Music has inspired him to create the duo « Iberica » (saxophone and piano) as well as the quartet « Sfogato ».

Gregory letombe has also earned the title of Director of the big-band « Fun-Ky Jazz Band » and « Ensemble de Saxophones des Hauts de France ».
